I am slowly trying to find my place within my NGO and it is proving to be a bit difficult. My NGO has a way of functioning and it is a bit awkward to have someone there that does not really speak the language and is used to an entirely different style of operating. Right now it is 10:45 and I am the computer lab where my Chris works - he's not here yet - and this is not a problem as I do not have a meeting until 11am and until then I am not needed in the office. This meeting could last anywhere from 10-30min. I have another one similar to it at 3pm and that is my day. There is some work that I want to do, but I am doing that on my own and with my own initiative. I am not complaining it just makes things a bit more challenging. All the volunteers were informed that things would probably be this way, but that it again, depends on the situation. That is my favorite Georgian sentence - It depends. I learned that one right away and it has definitely come in handy. It is the perfect response when one is not really sure how to respond.
I hope that all is well on the homefront. I have heard about Chief Justice Rehnquist and passed along that info to my fellow volunteers. We are curious to find out how that situation unfolds. This is gonna be brief. Take care and I'll probably write more tomorrow.

Oh Mama.
The hurricane devastation did catch their eye, but the Supreme Court did not even make national news here, from what I can tell. The hurricane was a bit awwing, for me as well. There isn't even a word in georgian for hurricane. Interesting. I learned that when the last big one hit Florida (when I was going to GLOW camp). Take care.
